I think I broke my email temporarily.

So I got all excited that the second season of Quantum Leap is available to watch on Netflix. In my over-obsessive ways I looked up the one episode that Kelli Williams did a guest spot in. Which happens to be season 2 episode 2.

I enthusiastically added season 2 to my queue and went to look for that 1 specific episode.

For some unknown reason there are 3 episodes from season 2 that are only available on DVD and Kelli's episode is one of them.

I swear I could hear someone laughing at me.

This is not my day.

So during the last camping trip of the year we were at the coast and I of course had to make some sort of sand monument to my current obsession. (In the past I've made some pretty impressive stargates. might post pictures of that later)

There are no words. Yesterday was all kinds of awesome.

First and most importanly was Lie to Me of course!  I'm still spazzing out about it.  Although personally I don't see why everyone's making such a big deal over "the kiss" I've seen better mistletoe kisses. This was like two french people meeting on the street.  Something friends do. Does that make sense?
Gillian's office is bigger. I actually noticed that a while ago but they have yet to give us a good look at it so I didn't say anything.
Cal made a couple statements about prior working conditions one at the beginning about going back to working out of his kitchen and then at the end saying they'd be working out of a shoe box if not for Gillian.

Maybe I'm weird but I LOVE the idea of just Cal and Gillian starting out the Lightman Group working from his kitchen. I could also see there being awkward moments with Gillian and Zoe.

Second, I commited an act of "happy vandalism"! Put a bunch of pinwheels into a heart shape with a giant pen in the middle for my friends birthday. I'm pretty sure he was sitting in the front room so we didn't get as close to the house as I would have liked but the mission was accomplished.

Now I'm in for a long day of getting issue 2 of the paper out. Before I knuckle down I think I'm going to go get hot chocolate because I haven't eaten anything today.

The lappy is almost back to 100%! I still need to reload Office2007 and PaintShopPro9 but other than that it's all good. =)
I had a minor iTunes scare last night. It wouldn't let me put any of my store purchases onto my iPod or even let me play them even though they were there.  After growling at it for a good hour I scheduled an appointment to talk to an apple specialist only to find that I just needed to authorize the computer. Why can't apple give more instructions?  Crisis averted.

First off, hello to new friends!  Welcome!

Second, I had to wipe my computer so a lot of my computer time the past week and a half has been consumed with trying to fix my lappy. Poor baby now has two years of windows updates to catch up on.  Currently I'm waiting for iTunes to convert 400 songs into my library.  It's sort of like watching paint dry.

Third, tomorrow, if I can block out the school portion of the day, is going to be wicked awesome!  Lie to Me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did anyone else notice in the preview in the shot of Reynolds back with the gun and his hands up that the blurry figure down the hallway is Gillian?

Well as of starting this post my birthday is in 6 minutes.  The only thing I'm really excited for is leaving the teenager stereotype behind.

As of late I know I haven't been posting on here.  I never feel like I have enough to post so I mostly hang out on twitter.

I know I still haven't posted the second half of my Moral Waiver picspam and I apologize for that.  All that's left is to put my own commentary on it and I haven't been feeling very inspired for it.

Right now I'm enjoying a Lie to Me marathon with my friend. As I watch I'm writing down every Cal/GIllian scene.  Eventually I'll type it up and share it.

Okay back to the show. ^_^

I figured it was time for a summer update.

As of today we have only

Anyone who would have cared has probably realized by now that last Monday's rerun was preempted by a special Michael Jackson 'American Idol'.  Theepisode that would have aired.... Love Always.  Oh Fox.  You really are that stupid.

This Monday, the 6th, will be A Perfect Score.  Check your local listings.

I've been catching up on Medical Investigation and had a WTH moment in 'Coming Home', okay maybe more of a me*is*dork moment because when Stephen flips his phone open at the beginning of the episode it totally makes the Star Trek communicator noise from the original series! 

It's so subtle I almost missed it but, of course my Trekkie antenna are always up.  Just made me chuckle so I thought I would share the knowledge. ^_^

So I was watching the Fox re-run of the Pilot and noticed a few things missing.

They cut the car parking scene!!!!!!!!!!!
and Loker telling Torres he wants to sleep with her.
and the beginning of Gillian's questions to the congressman.
and Torres walking into the club.
and a few other little things that didn't really matter like moments when no one was talking.

Why???!?!?!?!?!? 


Also, my mom watched the Pilot with me and all she had seen before was part of Better Half.  After watching all of the Pilot she turned to me and was like, "Now wait, I'm confused.  I thought the lady[Gillian] was married to him.[Cal]"

I really wanted to respond with, "Mom, you rock."  However, I thought it would be easier just to explain that the guy who came to get her for dinner was her husband.
